Interactive Live Watch Parties Allow Laliga to Engage With Fans Worldwide

LiveLike and WMT Expand Relationship with Spain´s Globally Renowned Soccer League Following Successful North American Events with Verizon and Fanatiz

NEW YORK – MARCH 9, 2021 – After a successful debut in 2020 with interactive fan events in North America, LiveLike, the sports fan engagement platform for live entertainment, and WMT, a digital solutions and data-driven technology and marketing agency, today announced an expanded relationship with Spain´s renowned soccer league LaLiga for a global expansion of its Live Watch Party platform. Through this platform, LaLiga can uniquely engage with fans during live matches via digital watch parties, trivia, and gamification..

LiveLike and WMT’s “Watch Parties for Brands” platform debuted in North America in October 2020, creating an interactive, communal experience for fans around live events. The platform utilizes LiveLike’s audience engagement suite — including watch parties, polling, reactions, trivia, gamification and more — and WMT’s proprietary real-time voice and video engagement experience. LaLiga North America utilized the platform for VIP activations -sponsored by Verizon- in which legendary players interact in real-time with a select group of fans before, during and after big matches. LaLiga North America also hosted an exclusive screening of a documentary film through the platform with fan clubs across the U.S., which was sponsored by Fanatiz.
